Data & Privacy

How your data is collected and used by The CS Weekly.

The privacy of your data is obviously important. Here is how your data is used here.

  • You provide data when you read this site, including page views, and page stickiness (how long you remain on the page). I view this data from time to time. Unless you're a subscriber, this data is aggregated and not personally identifying.
  • You provide data when you create a subscription and use your subscription. Free subscribers, when they are logged in and when they read the newsletter in their email, provide data about their reading habits of the content. I view this information from time to time to learn about what content people engage with the most, in order to provide better content. This data is personally identifying. Additionally, if you purchase a paid subscription, Stripe collects data about your payment method and information related to completing the transaction. Stripe uses this data to process your subscription payments, and may have additional information about you on file based on your payments with other Stripe partners.
  • Your data is not shared with any third parties for advertisements or any other purpose, except as outlined above.
